      💚 Trim your wick to 1/4" before each lighting with a wick trimmer

      💚 Allow the melted wax pool to reach the edges of the jar before extinguishing, to prevent wax from building along the sides of the jar and tunnelling

      💚 We recommend burning for approximately 3 hours at a time, and no longer than 4 hours

      💚 Carefully light the wicks using matches or a candle lighter

      💚 Pour some boiling water into the jar with a bit of dishwashing powder or detergent. 

      💚 Let it cool down, and the remaining wax will rise at the top. 

      💚 Pour out the water and remove the remaining wick from the bottom of the jar. 

      💚 Give the jar another quick wash and a little scrub, then let it dry before you use it. 

      💚 You can use your jar to keep tiny belongings like earrings or beads. 

      💚 Alternatively, you can dispose of the jar in your weekly recycling.
