What is tunnelling, and how do I fix it?
When a candle burns straight down the middle of the candle instead of right to the edges, it's called tunnelling. Tunnelling happens when the candle is burned for a short time. To avoid tunnelling, make sure your first lit of the candle last at least 2 hours or until the pool reaches the edges. To fix tunnelling, scoop out to remove the built-up wax with a spoon and relight the candle, make sure you allow it to burn right to the sides this time.
What kind of fragrances do you use in your candle?
We use both synthetic fragrances and essential oil blends to create our candles and melts. These fragrances are free from phthalates and paraffin, and non-toxic. Our fragrances are highly purified, safe and made from premium quality ingredients.
Each of our candles is lovingly hand-poured for high quality and long-lasting scent. We only use 100% natural soy wax and premium fragrances to make our impressive candles. Soy wax holds aromas well, and due to the low melting point of the wax, the fragrance oils can be released slowly to live up to their full potential.
